Nishina Center is organized into the following five divisions, one group and two affiliated research centers abroad: the Accelerator Division, Nuclear Physics Research Division, User Liaison and Support Division, Accelerator Applications Research Division, Sub Nuclear System Research Division, Safety Management Group, RIKEN BNL Research Center in the USA and RIKEN RAL Facility Office in the UK.
The Nishina Center oversees the extensive utilization of the RI Beam Factory by users worldwide, promoting research in nuclear physics, particle and hadron physics by effectively using both domestic and oversea accelerator facilities. The promotion of accelerator applications research is another important mission.
