A multi-talented cyclotron that can play many roles
The Intermediate-stage Ring Cyclotron (IRC) is the third ring cyclotron at the RIBF.
The IRC can inject an RI beam into the SRC placed downstream of the IRC as well as deliver the beam to the RIPS experimental apparatus.
