Job Description |
Successful applicants will carry out research relating to one of the following research topics:
- Nuclear density functional theories.
- Large-amplitude collective motion in nuclei and finite many-body systems.
- Development of new technologies for computer simulations of nuclear
systems.

Qualifications |
Applicants must have a Ph.D. with strong background in quantum many-body
theory for nuclear structure and/or reaction.
Experience in researches using the density functional theory
is preferable but not required. |

Contract Conditions |
The term of the contract shall be up to one year until the end of the current
fiscal year. Thereafter, the contract is renewable annually upon evaluation
until March 2012. Salary shall be determined on an annual basis.
Social health insurance, commuting
and housing allowances are provided. Days off are weekends, public holidays, New
Year's holidays (Dec 29 - Jan 3) and RIKEN Foundation Day. These and other provisions
are in accordance with RIKEN regulations. |
