Abstract:

We are working on the high energy spin physics project, the RHIC spin project, utilizing the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). One of the major goals of the project is to elucidate the spin structure of the nucleon. The expected sensitivity of the measurements with the PHENIX detector system is presented.
