Abstract:

The polarized pp collisions at RHIC provides very unique opportunity to study the spin structure of the nucleon and to study the fundamental symmetries. Both of two major detector systems, PHENIX and STAR will measure various asymmetries using polarized proton beams to meat these goals. The current status of the project is briefly overviewed. The feasibility of such experiments using the PHENIX detector system is discussed.
