-Detector Array for Low Intensity radiation-

DALI2

The γ-ray detector array DALI was originally developed by Rikkyo University and began operation in 1992. The array was used to perform in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy experiments with techniques such as Coulomb excitation, inelastic scattering and breakup reactions. Numerous experiments were performed by collaborations between Rikkyo University, RIKEN, The University of Tokyo, CNS, TITech and ATOMKI during 1992 - 2005.

DALI is currently out of operation due to the development of the next-generation array, DALI2, which took over from 2002. However, several detectors from DALI are still used for breakup experiments or for upgrading DALI2.
