理研BNL研究センターは、米国ブルックヘブン国立研究所（BNL)に1997年4月に設立されました。本センターは理研により運営され、新世代の若い物理学者を養成することにより、スピン物理、格子QCD及びRHIC物理を含む強い相互作用の研究に専念しています。
