Facilities at the RIBF

The RIBF is an accelerator complex consisting of many experimental devices, including linear accelerator, AVF cyclotron, RIPS, and BigRIPS, in addition to four distinctive ring cyclotrons.

At the RIBF, nuclear beam is fired from the ion source (center of this figure) and accelerated while passing through multiple accelerators. Accelerated beam is subsequently delivered to each experimental apparatus as indicated by yellow dash lines.
